Los Angeles, CA - The Regan Group has been hired to support the Ford Motor Company ad agency, J. Walter Thompson, to produce its Californopia Tour '01.
In its third year, the tour visits ten California college campuses offering students a day filled with entertainment, food and great prizes. Aimed at promoting the Ford Focus and Ford Escape to the college set, Californopia Tour '01 launched the end of April and will continue into the fall. The tour expects to reach over 250,000 students. "The Regan Group is excited to be working on Californopia Tour '01 with Ford," commented Patti Regan, President of The Regan Group. "It's an excellent opportunity to create a unique and fun-filled promotional program which targets the college market. We have strong resources within this community and are pleased to utilize them with this promotion." "Californopia has built a great following on California campuses," commented T.J. They have some creative ideas that will energize the tour." Californopia Tour '01 kicked off April 26th at 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM at Loyola Marymount University. The day included free food, a live musical performance by the band Common Sense, creative and unique games as well as great sponsored prizes. |

Los Angeles, CA - The Regan Group has added three more staff members to its rapidly-growing company. Marcia Sweet takes the helm as Controller while Julie Knox-Gonzalez becomes manager of sales support and Sonia Sandoval becomes sales support, the latter two in the promotional products department. "The addition of these three outstanding women is one more step towards meeting our company's goal of providing our clients with exceptional marketing services," commented Patti Regan, President of The Regan Group. As Controller, Ms. Sweet will create and implement accounting systems and controls as well as develop capital, operating and project budgets. Ms. Sweet will manage all accounting, finance, MIS, and administrative services for The Regan Group. She joins The Regan Group from ONEWORLDLIVE.COM, a direct response marketing and celebrity website, where she also held the post of Controller. Additionally, Ms. Sweet was the General Manager of American Adventures 2000 and the CFO and Controller at Frieda's, Inc. Ms. Knox-Gonzalez will supervise sales assistants and administrative staff, set-up and manage company store programs and act as a liaison for the outside sales force and support staff. She has been with The Regan Group for the past year. Ms. Knox-Gonzalez was previously with Promoting You, Basco Promotions, Inc. and Ha-Lo Marketing, all promotional firms based in Southern California. In her new position, Ms. Sandoval will provide support to the outside sales force by researching potential products, negotiating prices with vendors and collecting samples for future promotions. Prior the joining The Regan Group, Ms. Sandoval was also at Basco Promotions. |
